Service Fee Notice

Card Transaction Service Fee Notice effective January 2, 2026

Service Fee Details

A service fee of 2.7% will be applied to all credit and debit card transactions effective 1/2/2026. This fee covers the cost charged by the credit card processor, and the City of Reno does not receive any portion of this fee. Payments made via ACH withdrawal, check, money order, and cash remain fee-free.
